The 4th International Social Sciences Conference, organized online by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Biga Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and this year led by the Department of Business Administration, was successfully held on 5-6 July 2024. 

In the opening session of the conference, where this year's theme was determined as "Reflections of Industry 4.0 and Digitalization in Social Sciences", with the presentation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Didem SAYGIN, Vice Dean of Biga FEAS, Prof. Dr. R. R. Cüneyt ERENOĞLU, Rector of ÇOMÜ, and Prof. Dr. Nazan YELKİKALAN, Dean of Biga FEAS and Head of the Department of Business Administration, who chaired the Steering Committee this year, made their speeches emphasizing the increasing importance of Industry 4.0 and digitalization in our lives. In the opening panel of the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daba CHOWDHURY from Canterbury Christ Churst University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zümrüt Hatice ŞEKKELİ from Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Merve ERTOK ONURLU and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Filiz EROĞLU from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University presented their studies on the effects of Industry 4.0 and digitalization on social sciences from different perspectives. In the 19 sessions that started after the opening panel and lasted for two days, a total of 89 papers, including 29 video presentations, were presented in different fields of social sciences, with the valuable participation of researchers from 55 different universities and various institutions as well as independent researchers.
