DEANERY HANDOVER CEREMONY WAS HELD

A deanship handover ceremony was held at Biga Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.  Following the appointment of Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Levent DALYANCI as Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Nazan YELKİKALAN was appointed as Acting Dean of Biga Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.

The ceremony held at Prof. Dr. Ramazan AYDIN Campus was attended by ÇOMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt ERENOĞLU, Biga Mayor Alper ŞEN, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Dinçay KÖKSAL, Biga Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Dinçay KÖKSAL, Biga Vocational School Director Ertuğrul BİLGÜCÜ, Biga TSO President Şadan DOĞAN, Biga District Director of National Education Erkan BİLEN, Biga TSO Assembly President Melih AKYIL, ÇOMÜ Secretary General Oğuz ÜNAL, Deputy Secretary General Sinan KARABULĞU, NGO Representatives, academic and administrative staff and students.

 Speaking at the opening of the ceremony, Rector Prof. Dr. R.Cüneyt ERENOĞLU noted that: "Today we are together at Biga FEAS in our deanship handover ceremony. Prof. Dr. Yelkikalan has been working in Biga for 25 years and is a name that Biga has accepted. From now on, the flag is in the hands of Prof. Yelkikalan. Prof. Dr. Dalyancı served as our dean. As of yesterday, we have appointed him as the vice rector of our university and I congratulate both of our professors. Biga has been supporting our university since the beginning. We will develop new faculties and programs at our Biga campus. We will improve the social areas of our campus. In this regard, we have the support of our industrialist elders and young businessmen. We believe that the support for our faculty and university will continue to increase in this period. In every sense, our structuring efforts will continue for Biga, one of the locomotive faculties of our university. "

After the speech of Rector Prof.Dr.R.Cüneyt ERENOĞLU, Prof.Dr.Hüsnü Levent DALYANCI made the first speech and thanked the academic and administrative staff he worked with during his deanship period and wished Prof.Dr.Nazan YELKİKALAN success in her new position. Prof. Dr. Nazan YELKİKALAN also stated that there are projects she would like to achieve for the faculty which is very important for her and expressed her wishes for the continuation of the support of all Biga Business people and NGOs to the Faculty and the handover ceremony was held. The ceremony ended with the acceptance of congratulations and photo shoot.
