EU will support the project proposal "Ecology Awareness of Sustainable Green Development: Collaboration of Universities and Local Actors", led by Biga Faculty of Economics and Administraitve Sciences  Department of Finance Lecturer Assoc. Dr Eroğlu in the field of EU Erasmus + KA220 Higher Education, under the coordination of Slovakia Nitra University and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University.  The project will be funded by the ECOUNITY Slovak National Agency with a budget of 250,000 Euros. Other partners of the project are University of Rijeka (Croatia), Polytechnic University of Bucharest (Romania), University of Lodz (Poland), Mellis Education Technologies (Turkey) and Bird Life Slovensko Environmental Association (Slovakia).

Project research team’s Turkish crew include, FEAS faculty member Asst. Prof. Didem Saygın (Public Administration), Res. Asst.  Kendal Deniz (Finance) and Res. Asst. Yağmur Ekim Yılmaz (Public Administration). The project, which will last for 2 years in total, aims to prepare universities and local actors for cooperation in the field of sustainable environmental management, and to develop a strong stakeholder relationship by bringing the university and local actors together within the scope of the curriculum and project activities. In addition, within the scope of the project, answers will be sought on how university students studying at FEAS can work more effectively with representatives of local government and non-governmental organizations, and more active participation of students in the realization of sustainable development goals.
